 Canadian Bar Association ADR Section

-This organization provides training and intervention programs in Canada and abroad

Canadian Resource Guide to Restorative Justice and Conflict Resolution Education Programs
- It provides a list of Canadian institute for restorative justice and conflict resolution: with description of program and contact information.

Conflict Resolution Saskatchewan
- It includes news about new development in the field of mediation in Saskatchewan.

Family Mediation Canada

The Canadian International Institute of Applied Negotiation

ADR Resources
- The website provides access to full-text essays on different topics of mediation and links to other web sites.

 ADR Prof Blog
- It includes daily postings on negotiation, dispute resolution, arbitration.

American Arbitration Association
- The Association administers alternative dispute resolution cases, from filing to closing. The website includes Dispute Resolution Times, adr world and AAA and ICDR rules.

CDR Associates
- CDR Associates provides mediation services to resolve political, social and natural resources issues. The website includes a list of books and articles on conflict resolution and mediation.

Center for Applied Conflict Management (Kent State University)
-
The Center studies and promotes peaceful mechanisms of change and offers and undergraduate degree program in peace and conflict studies.  Includes links to organizations and professional associations, academic journals, bibliographies, and career resources.

The Consensus Building Institute
- The “Publications” page provides a list of books and articles published by the Program on Negotiation (at Harvard Law School) Clearinghouse, CBI Reports (from Issue 1, Spring 1996).

- CRInfo is a free linking site that provides a catalogue of over 20,000 web print anf organizational resources as well as event listings and other conflict resolution related resources..

Mediate.com Stratus Institute for Dispute Resolution (Pepperdine University)

A leading mediation website for professionals and persons considering mediation services.  Includes over 5000 articles and videos, a news service, blogs, a list of international and US mediation organizations, and directories of US and international mediators.

National Standards for Court-Connected Mediation Programs
- A set of standards (developed by the State Justice Institute) for court-connected mediation programs, which were developed to guide and inform courts interested in initiating, expanding or improving mediation programs to which they refer cases.

Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School
- The PON is a university consortium dedicated to developing the theory and practice of negotiation and dispute resolution. The website includes a monthly newsletter, PON publications, free reports and a blog.

Institute for Conflict Analysis & Resolution (George Mason University)
- ICAR is a community of scholars, students, practitioners, and organizations that are committed to the development of theory, research, and practice that interrupt cycles of violence.  Includes program information and links to full-text ICAR publications including newsletters, working papers, and reports.

Institute for Environmental Negotiation (University of Virginia)
- IEN practices, researches, and teaches conflict resolution and consensus building in order to build sustainable communities in Virginia.  Includes full-text IEN publications, summaries of recent projects, and related links.

3. Foreign / International

African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (ACCORD)
- ACCORD is a South African civil society organization working throughout Africa to bring creative African solutions to the challenges posed by conflict on the continent.  Includes information about current projects and initiatives, full-text versions of the African Journal on Conflict Resolution, Conflict Trends Magazine, and other ACCORD publications.

Association of Family and Conciliation Courts
- AFCC is an interdisciplinary and international association of professionals dedicated to improving the lives of children and families through the resolution of family conflict.  Includes a resource centre with full-text articles, information about conferences and training, and an on-line bookstore. 

Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (U.K.)
- CIArb is a UK-based registered charity working in the public interest for the global promotion, facilitation and development of all forms of private dispute resolution.  Includes a membership directory, information on education and training, dispute resolution guides, and current news in arbitration.

- International Commercial Arbitration and other Dispute Settlement - Lex Mercatoria (University of Oslo)
- Lex Mercatoria is dedicated to the provision of information on international commercial law.  The International Commercial Arbitration section includes links to foreign and international organizations, legislation, and regulations, covering over 25 jurisdictions.

Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre
HKIAC is a group of business and professional people in Hong Kong and is a leading centre of dispute resolution in Asia.  Includes guides for mediation, arbitration and adjudication, as well as links to ADR professionals and organizations.


International Chamber of Commerce Commission on Arbitration
- The ICC Commission on Arbitration is an international association that aims to create research and policy on practical issues relating to international arbitration, the settlement of international business disputes and the legal and procedural aspects of arbitration.  Includes information on task forces, guidelines and articles, rules, and an on-line bookstore.

 

International Center for Conflict Prevention and Resolution
- CPR is a nonprofit organization that aims to promote excellence and innovation in dispute resolution, and serves as a primary multinational resource for avoidance, management and resolution of business-related disputes.  Includes CPR publications, newsletters, CPR Rules and Procedures, podcasts, training resources, and an online bookstore.

International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes
- ISCID is an international institution established under the Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes Between States and Nations of Other States.  Its primary purpose is to provide facilities for conciliation and arbitration of international investment disputes.  Includes a list of member states, full-text versions of ICSID documents, rules, cases, bibliographies, and other ICSID publications.

International Commercial Arbitration: Resources in Print and Electronic Format
- Prepared by Lyonette Louis-Jacques, University of Chicago Law School; it Includes bibliographies, journal indexes, reports, legal databases, and Internet resources.

International Chamber of Commerce Dispute Resolution Services
- It includes information on the International Court of Arbitration, alternative dispute resolution, Dispute Boards, ICC Expertise, and Documentary Credit Dispute Resolution Expertise.

International Conflict Resolution: Information Sources (Columbia University)
- A selective guide to library materials and Internet resources on international conflict resolution, disarmament, arms control, and peacekeeping.  Includes book titles, bibliographies, journal titles, and databases.


Permanent Court of Arbitration
-The PCA, established by treaty in 1899, is an intergovernmental organization that provides a variety of dispute resolution services to the international community.  Includes United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Arbitration Rules, a summary of current and past cases, basic documents, annual reports, and treaties and agreements that refer to the PCA.

 

United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL)
-
UNCITRAL aims to further the progressive harmonization and unification of international trade law, and is the core legal body of the United Nations in this field.  The International Commercial Arbitration and Reconciliation section includes texts, publications, online resources, and bibliographies.
