- A comprehensive list of links to organizations, topics and issues, ethics codes, publications and blogs.

Genethics.ca
- Genethics is a clearing house for information on the social, ethical and policy issues associated with genetic and genomic knowledge and technology.  Maintained by Professor Bryn Williams-Jones at the Université de Montréal.  Includes Professor Williams-Jones' blog, topical guides, journals,article compilations, research guides, and links to other blogs.  Includes significant US content. 

University of Toronto Joint Centre for Bioethics
- The JCB is a partnership between the University of Toronto and affiliated health care organizations. The JCB studies important ethical, health-related topics through research and clinical activities.  Includes research portals, ethics guides, publications, a newsletter, and community tools. 

 

2. United States

American Society for Bioethics and Humanities
- The ASBH conducts education, research and policy making in clinical and academic bioethics and the health-related humanities.  Provides links to journals, full-text publications, and a membership directory. 

University of Pennsylvania Center for Bioethics
- The Center for Bioethics is an educational and research center in the field of bioethics.  Provides summaries of current projects and links to academic and non-academic resources.  Includes some international resources. 

Bioethics.net
- This website includes media reports, blogs, full-text articles from the American Journal of Bioethics, the Bioethics portal, and links to key bioethics organizations, journals, and resources. It includes some foreign and international resources.

Ethics Matters: Bioethics, Cloning and Reproductive Technologies (University of San Diego)
- Ethics Matters is a resource for teachers and students that provides updates on current literature that relates to ethics. It includes case studies, links to Internet resources, relevant radio programs, a bibliography, full-text documents, and summaries of recent literature.  Last updates in 2007.

Genome Programs of the U.S. Dept. of Energy Office of Science
- It provides information on the Genomic Science Program, the Human Genome Project, and Microbial Genome Research.  Includes publications, documents archives, and news.

Medical Ethics (American Medical Association)
- The AMA Ethics Group is responsible for helping establish ethical policies, developing educational programs and pursuing scholarly research of ethical issues in medicine that physicians are likely to encounter in their training and daily practice.  It includes the AMA Code of Ethics, the Institute of Ethics, and summaries of research and projects.

Kennedy Institute of Ethics (Georgetown University)
- The Kennedy Institute of Ethics is one of the world's premier bioethics institutes.  It includes full-text current and past issues of the Kennedy Institute of Ethics Journal and links to the Bioethics Research Library at Georgetown University, which has the ETHXWeb, GenETHX, International Bioethics Organizations, and Syllabus Exchange databases. 

National Human Genome Research Institute
- This website includes reports and publications, fact sheets, issues in genetics, news, links to online bioethics resources, and a policy and legislation database. 

The President's Council on Bioethics
- The President’s Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues advises the President on bioethical issues that may emerge from advances in biomedicine and related areas of science and technology. It includes general information about the Commission and full-text reports and publications.

Health Law and Policy Institute (University of Houston)
- It includes news, the Health Law Perspectives newsletter, Healthpathfinder (a list of annotated links organized by subject), full-text edition of the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy, supplementary materials on health law, and information on research, publications, and conferences. 

 

3. Foreign/ International

Bioethics (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization)
- This includes links to the International Bioethics Committee, conventions and recommendations, statistics, publications, and a photo bank.
