Canadian Insolvency Practitioners Association

- CAIRP is the national non-profit professional organization that advances the practice of insolvency administration and the public interest related to it. The website includes publications, insolvency regulation updates and links to relevant sources and organizations.

Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy (Canada)

- This is the federal agency that protects the integrity of the bankruptcy and insolvency in Canada, it is in charge of licensing and regulating bankruptcy trustees. The website includes an overview of insolvency, bankruptcy and insolvency records, unclaimed funds database, statistics, legislation and publications.

 

2. United States

American Bankruptcy Institute

- ABI is the largest multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency. This website features statistics, full-text court decisions and opinions, legislative news and newsletters.

Cornell Legal Information Institute: Bankruptcy Law Materials

- This website provides an overview of American bankruptcy law. It includes constitutional sources, federal and state bankruptcy statutes, regulations, court decisions and key Internet resources.

Findlaw: Bankruptcy Law

- This website includes blogs and podcasts, databases and statistics of government agencies.

 

 

Foreign / International

INSOL International

- INSOL International is a world-wide federation of national associations for accountants and lawyers who specialize in turnaround and insolvency. It includes an electronic newsletter and links to professional and government associations.

InterNet Bankruptcy Library: Worldwide Troubled Company Resources

- This website is hosted by the Bankruptcy Creditors' Service, Inc. It features case-specific newsletters, news archive, bankruptcy forums, bankruptcy rules by state, international bankruptcy and insolvency laws.

The Insolvency Service (UK)

- The Insolvency Service operates under a statutory framework to administer and regulate insolvency and bankruptcy in the United Kingdom. It provides an overview of bankruptcy and insolvency and also features full text publications and links to relevant organizations.
