Current Awareness Service

Current Law Journal

The Current Law Journal Content is a current awareness service that can be linked through the Washington & Lee Law School web site. It is a free service that gives you access to a variety of legal journals of your choice. Please note that this will not give you access to the full text of the articles. This service allows you to customize the journals of your choice to your browser. You will receive notices via e-mail or RSS when new issues of the journals are published. You are able to search by countries. You will need to register before you can use this service and it is free. You can register by:

Subscribing

You can subscribe by clicking on subscribe
Enter your e-mail address which will be yourname@ogoode.yorku.ca
Deselect the Journal titles or click on uncheck all
You now have a choice of selecting the journals you will like (Note that you have an option of sorting the journal list by:

Journal name
Impact-factor
Country

Click on any one of these options and hit the "Re-sort journal list"

Now save your profile. You will receive a confirmation message as well as an e-mail message from John Doyle.

RSS Feed

You may need to download and install a feed reader on your computer if you don't already have one. For more information on installing, you can go to http://law.wlu.edu/library/feeds The feed reader periodically connects to the journal listings and automatically retrieves the content pages.

Law Journals: Submission and Ranking

This service (also from the Current Law Journal Content) gives you information about law journals by subject, country and journal rank. It gives you editorial details and contact information needed when you need to submit an article for publication.

Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)

Link to a directory of open access scholarly journals maintained by Lund University Libraries, Sweden.

This is an electronic weekly current awareness service of the Current Index to Legal Periodicals available only to Osgoode Hall Law School faculty. Subscribers receive a weekly e-mail notification of updates to all journals they have selected. To subscribe to this service please click.

Cases, decisions and commentaries of the Supreme Court of Canada managed by the Osgoode Hall Law School. It has a central blog with contributions from scholars and practitioners.

This is an electronic manuscript submission service to law reviews. The Law School has a subscription which iis managed by the Research Office. Users need to create an account by signing in with the myosgoode email.
